Barts Square – RIBA London Regional Award Nomination

Putney & Wood were awarded the external stone cladding contract by Carillion following a competitive tender process, the package included the design, procurement, and installation of100mm thick, ribbed Moleanos limestone from Portugal.
Although the project was affected by the liquidation on Carillion in January 2018, the stonework was already complete, and the building finished by McLaren. Despite the delays, it’s great to see this development being recognized, the striking stonework façade was a firm favorite with our team.
