We’ve Come Full Circle – New Contract Award

We are pleased to announce that main contractor BAM, has awarded us the external stone cleaning, restoration and rebuild package for the Portland stone façade at 25 Cannon Street. Both our founding directors, Barry Putney and Andy Wood, along with four other members of the current Putney & Wood team, installed the original Portland stone cladding nearly 25 years ago. This is the first time a project has come full circle for us, and as we approach our 30th anniversary, we expect it won’t be the last. Putney & Wood’s estimator, Chris Williams said, “We’ve been in negotiations with BAM for some time and with the lockdown everything slowed down. It’s great that we’re now moving forward with this project”. We will be sharing some before and after project pictures as the project progresses.
