Putney & Wood were appointed to deliver the external stone façade package at 66–74 Notting Hill Gate, a high-quality mixed-use development located within a prominent West London conservation area.
The scheme comprises 19 luxury residential apartments and four retail units, designed to sensitively enhance the existing streetscape while respecting the surrounding historic architecture.
Our scope included the supply and installation of Moleanos CV limestone to the external façade, forming a clean and contemporary stone frontage in line with the architectural intent. All stonework was manufactured to detailed setting-out drawings to ensure consistency in jointing, coursing, and overall façade quality.
Working in collaboration with Clive Graham Associates and Intend Architecture Ltd, Putney & Wood supported the project through design coordination and technical development, producing fabrication information and fixing solutions tailored to the existing structure.
The project required careful integration of new façade elements with retained structures, alongside coordination within a constrained site environment on Notting Hill Gate. Through detailed planning and sequencing, the works were successfully delivered over a 3-month programme.
Completed in October 2023, the scheme provides a refined stone façade that complements the surrounding conservation area while delivering a high-quality residential and retail development.
