20 Old Bailey

20 Old Bailey is a 1980s commercial development opposite the eminent law courts in the City. This comprehensive refurbishment scheme included replacing the stone facade to the east elevation and two additional floors at roof level.

ISG appointed Putney & Wood to undertake the stonework package which included removing the existing Portland stone cladding and replacing it with Perlina limestone at ground floor level and Moleanos above. The contract also included the SFS inner skin behind the stone cladding, precast concrete copings at the parapets, cleaning the stonework on the retained facades, and the removal, repair and reinstallation of the decorative corbels to the south west corner.
