Barts Square, EC1
Barts Square is a £170m mixed use development in the City of London. The scheme includes extensive office and retail space in addition to 236 high specification residential apartments.
Following a competitive tender process, Carillion awarded the external stone cladding to Putney & Wood. The package included the design, procurement and installation of100mm thick, ribbed Moleanos limestone from Portugal.
Although the project was affected by the liquidation on Carillion in January 2018, the stonework was already complete by then, and the building was completed by McLaren.
