Scope of Work
The design, supply and erection of Bathstone precast lettering for the front entrance
Ironmonger Row Baths is a 1931 Grade II listed building, in London’s Old Street. The leisure centre has been extensively refurbished to create a modern facility for local residents.
Putney & Wood was appointed by Wates to design, supply and install precast lettering reading ”Ironmonger Row Baths” for the front entrance. The panels, which were designed by Putney & Wood’s in-house design team were manufactured offsite and delivered to site ready to be installed. The project team used cranes to carefully manoeuvre each panel into place before fixing them securely to the concrete frame.
