Lavington Mansions Ogle Street

This unique development of 21 new homes is notable not just for its contemporary yet sympathetic design, but also because it is a rare example of an all-affordable housing scheme in the Fitzrovia conservation area, just moments from Oxford Circus.

Putney & Wood was appointed by Allenbuild to carry out the Portland stone cladding package which included the facade of the new 6 story stair core and architectural dressings on the main brickwork elevations. Our design and site installation teams worked closely with Buro Four, TateHindle and Allenbuild to deliver the stone cladding package within a tight budget.

A collaboration between the Crown Estate and Peabody, the development achieves Level 3 Code for Sustainable Homes with layouts meeting ‘Lifetime Homes’ standards.
